Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our team at Flexo Finders. As a leading provider of top talent for the printing and packaging industry, we offer a unique opportunity for professionals to grow and develop their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Central Impression 10 Color Flexo Press to produce high-quality flexible packaging materials.
  • Meet machine and labor utilization standards to ensure efficient production.
  • Maintain Class A standards on all current Flexo Department equipment.
  • Make informed decisions on when to stop the press for correction of defects.
  • Inspect roll samples for print quality, including color standards, register, and other print defects.
  • Utilize Spectrophotometer, Densitometer, Glossmeter, and Gaugetalker to ensure print quality.
  • Inspect all cylinders and plates after each run.
  • Adhere to safe operating, sanitation, and housekeeping policies.
  • Continuously strive to improve quality, facilitate production, and minimize waste.
  • Exercise good judgment in solving operational problems.
  • Direct activities of your crew and demonstrate leadership skills.
Requirements
  • Experience as a wide web flexographic press operator.
  • Knowledge of printing processes and quality control measures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
