Position Overview

Compensation

This position is classified as tipped, and the hourly wage mentioned does not account for any additional earnings from tips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process drink and food orders from guests or servers, expertly mixing and serving beverages according to established recipes and company standards; serve wine, bottled beer, or draft beer.
  • Serve alcoholic drinks responsibly, verify identification, and comply with all relevant alcohol service policies and procedures.
  • Input drink and food orders into the cash register, collect payments, and provide accurate change.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of beverage and food selections.
  • Accurately complete sales and inventory documentation.
  • Manage bar inventory by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies.
  • Clean and organize bar equipment and stock.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • At least two years of experience in a front-of-house role within a high-volume bar or restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with credit card processing systems.
  • Prior experience with computerized point-of-sale systems.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a relevant bartending license.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Capability to lift stock weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Exposure to moderate to high noise levels during peak times.
