Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Keke's Breakfast Cafe. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food products to high standards, ensuring a smooth service period, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of food items using flat top grills, char-broiler, cook top, waffle baker, Panini press, and fryer.
  • Assume responsibility for the quality of products prepared and served.
  • Know and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area, including all cooking equipment and refrigeration equipment.
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Open and close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing the kitchen.
  • Assist in routine kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.

Requirements:

  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
  • Must have exceptional grooming habits.
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE 6:00 am to 4:00 pm EVERYDAY INCLUDING HOLIDAYS.
  • Full-time applicants must consider Keke's as their primary place of employment.
  • All Employees must have dark blue jeans with a black belt and black non-slip shoes on the first day of work.

Compensation:

$18.00 per hour

Keke's Breakfast Cafe is dedicated to providing an outstanding breakfast experience, with a focus on using the best ingredients available and delivering fresh fruits and vegetables daily. We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team and help us achieve our goal of providing exceptional service to our guests.

Each location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Applications will be directed to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of individual franchise locations.
