Summary:
As an Advanced Respiratory Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering a range of therapeutic and diagnostic interventions across various patient care settings. Your expertise will enhance and sustain the cardiopulmonary health of patients through the administration of medications, gases, and specialized procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide advanced clinical support in specialized areas including neonatal/pediatrics, adult care, or pulmonary diagnostics.
2. Mentor new staff and supervise students, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
3. Lead and coordinate patient care initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
4. Deliver training sessions to enhance the skills and competencies of team members.
5. Facilitate effective communication among healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Master’s degree in a health science or related field.

Certifications:
- NBRC Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS) for adult care.
- NBRC Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (NPS) for neonatal/pediatric care.
- NBRC Registered Pulmonary Function Testing Technologist (RPFT) for diagnostics.

Experience:
- Minimum of one year in a similar role preferred.
- Experience in research is advantageous.
- In pulmonary diagnostics, at least three years in critical care and two years in a pulmonary function lab setting.

Skills:
- Proficient technical skills to adapt procedures to individual patient needs.
- Strong analytical skills for patient evaluation and therapy assessment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds regularly.
- Must exhibit patience and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
