Job Summary:

As a Registered Dietitian at Henry Ford Health System, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nutritional care to patients, families, and associates. This includes assessment, nutrition diagnosis, implementation of a care plan, counseling, education, and evaluation of outcomes. You will also coordinate various education programs and seminars on nutritional topics.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a related field is required, with a Master's degree or Advanced Practice Certification preferred. You must have a professional level of knowledge of chemistry, physiology, caloric and nutrient values, and physical properties of foodstuffs, as well as an understanding of medical nutrition therapy. Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products are also essential. Additionally, you must be able to read, write, and speak English, and use and understand medical terminology.

Certifications/Licenses:

A Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) is required.
