Manufacturing Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Automation Specialist to join our team in Warrensburg, MO. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for developing cost-effective manufacturing processes, overseeing equipment installation and maintenance, and implementing PLC and robot logic changes.
This is a direct-hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes:

Shift Information:
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering
- 1 – 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
General Requirements:
- Proficient in root cause problem-solving, visualization, and quality tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and quality management software
- Skilled in programming software, including ProWORX NXT, Modsoft, PanelBuilder, Magelis, V/V+, VisionWare, MotionWare, TestPoint, Fix 32 Intellution, RSView, RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, and Bitrode LCN
- Knowledgeable in college-level geometry, algebra, and trigonometry
- Strong skills in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley & Modicon), robot programming and troubleshooting (Adept & Fanuc), and electrical code compliance
Essential Functions:
- Design, develop, evaluate, analyze, select, and order appropriate and cost-effective equipment for manufacturing company products and systems
- Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, processes, and systems
- Stay current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues
- Study equipment performance and reliability
- Provide technical support to operations and other disciplines within the engineering organization
- Identify and develop processes needed to produce specific products and components
- Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and perform job functions
- Work on problems of diverse scope, analyzing data to evaluate identifiable factors
- Implement PLC and Robot logic changes
- Provide technical support to maintenance and operations
- Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting, specifically with Allen Bradley and Modicon systems
- Skilled in robot programming and troubleshooting for Adept and Fanuc robots
- Knowledgeable in electrical code compliance
- Coordinate electrical control equipment builds, installation and training
- Oversee and coordinate the efforts of company employees and vendors to ensure the successful achievement of established objectives
- Operate under general supervision
