Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinician to join our dynamic healthcare team as a full-time Day Shift Registered Nurse (RN). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients within their assigned unit and will contribute to patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restoring optimal functioning, and helping the patient adapt to an altered lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
- Implement identified plan of care and contribute to the development, maintenance, and update of that plan, identifying potential risks and contributing to corrective action plans.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions, completing all documentation in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and delegate care and treatments with the interdisciplinary team.
- Identify patient and family learning needs and teach patients and families using effective teaching methods.
- Provide timely assistance with urgent and emergency situations.
Requirements:
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF ACCREDITED REGISTERED NURSING PROGRAM REQUIRED.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
- One (1) year recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
- Current CPR Certification required; ACLS certification preferred if in Charge Nurse role.
- CRRN certification preferred.
