Exciting Opportunity in Cardiac Care: A prominent healthcare organization in eastern Texas is seeking an experienced ACNP or PA to enhance their Cardiac Observation Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care as a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Engage in a cardiology-focused role akin to a hospitalist within a hospital setting.
- Be part of an expanding team dedicated to 24/7 coverage in the Cardiac Observation Unit.
- Collaborate with a team of two other NP/PAs currently in the unit.
- Experience in Cardiology, Urgent Care, or Hospitalist settings is preferred, though new graduates with enthusiasm and adaptability are encouraged to apply.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required, with the potential for day and night shifts.
- Work in 8-hour rotating shifts.
- This position is entirely hospital-based, with no clinic responsibilities.
- Responsibilities include admitting patients to the Cardiac Observation Unit, consulting with patients from the ER, and maintaining frequent communication with Hospitalists.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
