About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at 1 Resource Group. As a Catalyst Handling Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of catalyst handling projects within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, and ensure their requirements and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and manage a project team, including catalyst handling specialists, engineers, and contractors, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Ensure that all catalyst handling activities comply with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Implement quality control measures to uphold high standards of workmanship and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitor project expenditures, track costs, and manage the project budget to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies within catalyst handling projects.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, within the chemical processing or petrochemical industry, with a focus on catalyst handling and related processes.
  • Strong understanding of catalyst handling processes, equipment, and relevant industry standards and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, and familiarity with relevant software for technical analysis and reporting.
