The Research Medical Center Nurse Residency Program is a comprehensive training program designed to support the transition of new graduate nurses into the role of a professional nurse. As a Nurse Resident in the Neuro Step Down Unit, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with the standards of practice for the Neuro Step Down Unit
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
