Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform adult and pediatric phlebotomy, as well as daily tasks including centrifuging, aliquoting, and stabilizing patient specimens for transport via courier or pneumatic tube system. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to register patients accurately, verify insurance, and maintain interdepartmental workflow.

About the Role:

  • Perform proper venipuncture and post-care of phlebotomy sites with zero labeling errors.
  • Accurately register patients, verify insurance, and use Meditech, Accureg, and Cayuga Connect software effectively.
  • Maintain quality assurance and participate in educational opportunities to enhance professional knowledge.
  • Aid in minimizing butterfly usage throughout the PSCs and maintain adequate inventory and checklists.
  • Ensure compliance with lab and hospital procedures, HIPAA standards, and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational phlebotomy (or related) course/program, or 1 year working phlebotomy experience.

Pay Range Disclosure:$17.79 - $24.04 per hour, plus benefits.
