About the Role

The Parking Lot Monitor plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students at BASIS Schools. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Safety and Supervision: Monitor students during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before and after school to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Behavioral Oversight: Oversee students' behavior and report any unruly behavior to school management.
  • Property Management: Inform supervisor of any damages to school property and take necessary steps to prevent future incidents.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as injuries or food allergies, with urgency and sound judgment.
  • Front Office Support: Assist in front office support as applicable, including maintaining regular, full, and predictable attendance.
  • Student Supervision: Supervise individual students and/or groups of students during structured and unstructured times.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or higher.
  • Certifications: Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience in a school or child care environment preferred.
