Your role is multifaceted, with a primary focus on advancing and ensuring the reliability of our autonomous vehicle operations. Your responsibilities will center around software testing and quality assurance to support our engineering initiatives.
Daily tasks will include:
- Assisting in software testing to verify the functionality and safety of autonomous vehicles.
- Documenting test outcomes and operational challenges to facilitate software enhancement and development.
- Collaborating on projects with internal and external teams to achieve strategic goals and operational excellence.
- Participating in vehicle logistics support, emphasizing preventative maintenance and efficient vehicle deployment.
- Contributing to the collection of performance data to provide insights that drive engineering improvements.
Qualifications & Skills for Success
To excel in this role and contribute to our groundbreaking efforts in autonomous driving technology, candidates should emphasize their expertise in software testing and documentation, along with a commitment to operational excellence.
This full-time, ongoing contract position requires candidates to be local or within a commutable distance from the work site.
Essential qualifications include:
- Experience in troubleshooting complex technical systems.
- Familiarity with a Linux operating environment.
- A strong background in documentation and quality assurance.
- Ability to spend extended periods in a vehicle while performing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a systematic, creative approach to problem-solving.
- A valid driver's license held for at least three years, with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work shifts during days, nights, and weekends, with additional compensation for non-standard hours.
Preferred qualifications include:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field related to this role, particularly in software testing and documentation.
- Experience in a structured environment, such as military service, is highly regarded.
- Proven ability to work independently, navigate technical challenges efficiently, and meet deadlines.
