Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform ultrasound procedures and provide exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, selecting appropriate transducers, and adjusting imaging parameters to produce optimal images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures on patients, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular exams
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, including spectral Doppler, color Doppler, and M-mode
  • Select appropriate transducers and adjust imaging parameters to produce optimal images
  • Provide accurate explanations and instructions to patients, and ensure their comfort and anxiety reduction
  • Document patient information and exam results accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate from an approved ultrasound training program
  • Registry eligible
  • Computer manipulation, verbal and written communication skills, mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to make effective professional judgments and decisions based on objective criteria
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARDMS certification
