Cloud Data Architect

Cribl, Inc, a pioneer in remote work, is seeking a talented Senior Software Developer to join our Stream team. As a critical member of our engineering team, you will design, develop, and deploy high-quality software products that empower our customers to achieve their goals.

This position involves working closely with an existing team of skilled engineers and product managers to identify, design, develop, and deliver scalable, robust, and high-performing distributed systems. You will be responsible for developing software for projects and features with an emphasis on backend systems and APIs responsible for ingesting, processing, and routing data.

• Develop software for projects and features with an emphasis on backend systems and APIs
• Design, develop, test, and maintain clear, concise, and robust code
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate feature specifications into product designs and implementable code
• Mentor and coach junior engineers on the design and implementation of their code

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with demonstrated experience building products that leverage large-scale data sets. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems is essential. Additionally, you should have experience with using and developing REST APIs, Agile processes, and rapid iterative development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, with a focus on high-quality and high-performing deliverables. Experience developing services for cloud-based platforms is also desirable.
