Metallurgical Expert

About the Role:

MetalTek International is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Metallurgical Intern to join our team at the Wisconsin Centrifugal Division. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including melt practice revisions, defect analysis, and heat treatment studies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of melt practice revisions
• Analyze defects and micro/macro structures
• Investigate the effect of casting parameters on quality and properties
• Conduct heat treatment studies

Requirements:

• Individuals working on Materials/Metallurgical or Industrial/Mechanical Engineering degrees with a minimum junior status preferred
