Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MRG Exams Careers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In this role, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.

It is essential to note that the Nurse Practitioner does not make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.

This position performs Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, on average. You will work in a clinical setting, and your schedule will be full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4pm.

We are looking for a candidate who is interested in performing independent medical assessments, able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings, and skilled in time management. You must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and be proficient in using a computer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform medical assessments on United States Veterans
  • Review medical records electronically through a web portal
  • Conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran
  • Document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal
  • Meet the requirements of 3-5 Veterans per day, on average
Requirements:
  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
  • Proficient in using a computer
