Job Title: SICU Registered Nurse

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled SICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to adult patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage life support equipment, such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
  • Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care.
  • Participate in emergency nursing procedures and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certification
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care SICU setting
