About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Hi-Desert Continuing Care Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the extent of their communication disorder and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer diagnostic testing procedures to assess patients' receptive and expressive language skills, speech fluency, and other areas of communication.
  • Develop and maintain long-term and short-term treatment goals for each patient, re-evaluating and modifying treatment programs as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology to provide high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
  • 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current licensure as a Speech Pathologist in California.
  • California driver's license and continuous insurance required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outpatient experience with preschool populations and adults.
  • Availability to see adult patients in acute/skilled nursing environments.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, up to $63.37 per hour, and a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000. Our schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.
