As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our team and delivering high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Filing and organizing medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organizing paperwork and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Uploading files in a timely manner and maintaining accurate records.
  • Performing other business office and clinical functions as needed.
  • Acting as a liaison between patients, clinical or medical teammates, and maintaining positive communications with the medical staff members and their office personnel.
  • Maintaining competencies to function in the MA role within specific areas.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed and/or requested by Manager.
  • Promoting the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
  • Complying with SCA and facility policy and procedures.
  • Notifying the RN of any changes in patients' status and responses.
  • Demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills with members of the team and other stakeholders.
  • Acting as a patient advocate and maintaining privacy and confidentiality of individuals and health information.

Qualifications:


Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification.

High School Graduate or equivalent.
One year of Medical Assistant / Nursing Assistant/ Patient Care Tech experience preferred.
Certified Medical Assistant (MA)/Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Patient Care (PCT) preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology.

Compensation:
USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $30.00/Hr.
