We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer I PRN to join our team at AdventHealth Heart of Florida and Lake Wales. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular team.
About the RoleThis PRN position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, performing diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics. You will be responsible for maintaining supply inventory, setting up and adjusting imaging equipment, and implementing safety standards and quality control procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics
- Maintain supply inventory and restock to maintain proper operating levels
- Set up and adjust imaging equipment, while manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams
- Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures
- Perform routine and complex studies, in addition to assisting with a variety of imaging procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in cardiovascular sonography, with a focus on echocardiography, pediatric echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
