Position Overview
Meraki Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated faculty member for its Family Medicine Residency Program. This role focuses on Family Medicine with a specialization in Obstetrics, located in a vibrant community in the Florida panhandle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in comprehensive Family Medicine practice alongside fellow faculty members.
- Collaborate with specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Pharmacology.
- Possess a fellowship in Family Medicine Obstetrics.
- Maintain board certification and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
Practice Details:
- Inpatient care encompassing Family Medicine and Obstetrics, including surgical procedures such as cesarean sections and assisted deliveries, in partnership with certified nurse midwives and Family Medicine-Obstetrics fellows.
- Participate in an OB call schedule of approximately 1:5, with additional compensated weekends.
- Outpatient services include routine and high-risk prenatal care, along with the opportunity to mentor resident physicians and medical students.
- Foster a close working relationship with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists.
- Support for academic pursuits, professional growth, and flexible lifestyle options.
