Position Overview:

The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation setting. This position involves assessing patients, planning, implementing, and documenting comprehensive nursing care tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of assigned patients and develop personalized care plans.
  • Deliver exceptional nursing services in a dynamic environment, focusing on both sub-acute and acute rehabilitation units.
  • Administer medications and perform various patient assessments within the registered nurse's scope of practice.
  • Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and their families about health conditions, medication management, and self-care techniques.
  • Utilize clinical experience and judgment to achieve patient care objectives.

Work Schedule:

This role requires full-time availability for evening, night, and occasional day shifts, including every other weekend and three holidays per year.

Compensation:

The salary typically ranges from $38.00 to $58.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Opportunities for career advancement are available through a structured RN career ladder from RN I to RN V.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure and Certification:
  • Possession of a valid PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License.
  • BLS certification is required within 60 days of hire.
