Environmental Geologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Geologist Engineer to join our team at NxT Level. As a key member of our environmental consulting and engineering firm, you will play a crucial role in providing innovative solutions to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in conducting investigations and site assessments within regulatory compliance. You will excel in problem-solving and thrive in a collaborative environment that promotes creativity and professional growth.

• Conduct Phase I and II environmental site assessments.
• Prepare detailed work plans for site investigations.
• Perform site investigation activities, including sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water, biota, and building materials.
• Provide environmental compliance support, including data collection for permitting and/or registration, regulatory compliance evaluation, and preparation of plans and reports.
• Document field activities and assist in writing technical reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience, with previous internships being beneficial.
• Professional registration, certification, or experience in geotechnical, geophysics, or related fields is a plus.
• EIT, PE, PG, or the ability to obtain a PE or PG license in other states is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 35% annually, including overnight and weekend trips.
