Position: Housekeeper

Role Overview:

As a vital member of our team, the Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a pristine and welcoming environment for our residents. This role is essential in ensuring that both resident apartments and community areas are kept clean and sanitary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform regular cleaning of assigned resident apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  2. Conduct annual deep cleaning of apartments in accordance with the community's cleaning schedule.
  3. Collaborate with the Care Department to manage resident linens and towels, ensuring timely laundering as per the established schedule.
  4. Assist residents with laundry services when necessary.
  5. Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, elevators, and lounges, following the designated cleaning schedule.
  6. Address spills and stains on carpets and furniture promptly.
  7. Support the cleaning of mobility aids and other resident equipment as required.
  8. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service delivery.
  9. Provide courteous phone assistance when needed.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and uphold the rights of residents at all times.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess previous experience in housekeeping, preferably within a senior living or hospitality context. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English are essential. Compliance with health-related requirements and maintenance of CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers certifications are mandatory.
