Position: Housekeeper
Role Overview:
As a vital member of our team, the Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a pristine and welcoming environment for our residents. This role is essential in ensuring that both resident apartments and community areas are kept clean and sanitary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cleaning of assigned resident apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct annual deep cleaning of apartments in accordance with the community's cleaning schedule.
- Collaborate with the Care Department to manage resident linens and towels, ensuring timely laundering as per the established schedule.
- Assist residents with laundry services when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, elevators, and lounges, following the designated cleaning schedule.
- Address spills and stains on carpets and furniture promptly.
- Support the cleaning of mobility aids and other resident equipment as required.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service delivery.
- Provide courteous phone assistance when needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and uphold the rights of residents at all times.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess previous experience in housekeeping, preferably within a senior living or hospitality context. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English are essential. Compliance with health-related requirements and maintenance of CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers certifications are mandatory.
