Position Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse inventory and managing staff to ensure the accurate and efficient storage and shipment of products.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate all logistics operations within the warehouse.
  • Supervise and guide warehouse personnel, prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Monitor and account for inventory levels and product movement.
  • Manage all forklift activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the warehouse and equipment, ensuring timely servicing as required.
  • Document and manage records, including manifests and receipts, while entering necessary data into reports.
  • Verify that all materials correspond with packing lists prior to dispatch.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of new warehouse employees.
  • Ensure proper handling, packaging, and placement of products for distribution.
  • Inspire and lead warehouse staff to effectively execute assigned tasks.
  • Enforce compliance with facility regulations and state laws.
  • Enhance warehouse operations through strategic planning to improve fulfillment efficiency.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting is essential.
  • Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain management principles.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to complete training and operate machinery safely.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and shipping software.
  • Physical stamina to work extended hours on foot and lift weights exceeding 50 pounds.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
