Job Summary

Carter Hospitality Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations
    • Perform shift closing procedures for the hotel's financial systems
    • Verify information and correct discrepancies in financial reports
    • Handle cash transactions accurately and reconcile cash handling discrepancies
  • Accounting and Reporting
    • Prepare and transmit daily financial reports to management
    • Reconcile reports with restaurant system and balance room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier's reports, guest and house accounts, and telephone revenue
  • Customer Service
    • Provide relief support to PBX operator and act as hotel system liaison during night hours
    • Perform Guest Service Representative functions and provide exceptional customer service
  • Requirements
    • High school diploma or GED
    • 2 years' experience in financial operations or accounting
    • Microsoft Office proficiency
    • Customer service experience
    • Full availability and ability to pass pre-employment testing
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • English proficiency
    • Ability to follow instructions and deal with conflicts
    • Leadership techniques, judgment, multitasking, adaptability, attention to detail, and organizational skills
    • Hospitality operating systems understanding and quality customer service
