About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Diagnostic Technologist to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiographic examinations, assisting cardiologists and other medical professionals, and ensuring the highest quality procedures consistent with IAC standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complete echocardiographic examinations, including M-mode, two-dimensional, and Doppler echocardiography
  • Assist cardiologists, fellows, and other medical professionals in performing transesophageal echocardiographic and stress echocardiographic examinations
  • Coordinate efficient patient flow, staff assignments, educational support, and highest quality procedures
Qualifications
  • High school diploma and completion of a two-year echocardiography training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
  • 1+ year's echocardiogram experience preferred
  • Registration by a national certification organization, such as American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
