University Park Care Center in Pueblo, CO is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

About the Role

The Occupational Therapist will provide direct rehab care to patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. This includes establishing, assessing, and modifying realistic, measurable, timely, and functional goals for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (i.e., activities of daily living)
  • Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students
  • Chart appropriately and timely
  • Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
Requirements
  • NBCOT certified upon hire, but renewal is optional going forward
  • Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
  • One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
