Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Surgical Technologist, you will work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, delivering safe and effective care to patients during the intra-operative period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical care to surgical patients through the role of the scrub assistant.
  • Effectively interact with patients of all ages and healthcare team members, maintaining the surgical department standards.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • 1-3 years of experience is required.

Working Conditions:

  • Significant manual skills/motor coordination and finger dexterity.
  • Significant occupational risk.
  • Very Heavy effort, may exert up to 50 lbs. force.
  • Significant exposure to dirt, odor, noise, human waste, etc.
