Customer Service Account Representative

About the Role:

Taylor Corporation is seeking a skilled Customer Service Account Representative to join our team in Byron, MN. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
  • Anticipate and respond to customer needs, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  • Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounts, including processes between customers and the operations center.
  • Identify opportunities to drive process improvements, enhancing the customer experience and reducing costs.
  • Receive and document customer complaints, working closely with sales and operations teams to resolve issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report back to customers, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in dealing with diverse customer needs and preferences.
  • Partner with sales teams to build strong, sustainable relationships with customers through open and interactive communication.
  • Provide backup coverage for sales representatives during their absence, ensuring seamless customer support.
  • Embody and participate in our Lean Culture, driving continuous improvement and excellence in customer service.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or customer support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Basic mathematical calculations and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Flexible work schedule, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
