Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel RN - Med/Surg 8 East
Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 20 weeks
All travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day) as per facility policy.
Requirements :
  • SC license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in a large healthcare facility
  • Strong Ortho experience required
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR
Additional Information:
  • Travelers may float as needed
  • Charting System: Pyxis
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - No Exemptions
  • Local candidates accepted: YES if over 100 miles or 50 miles for Night shift
Candidates must be available to work through the specified duration. All travelers are required to work two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day) as per facility policy. Calling out on a holiday may lead to immediate termination. Additionally, travelers are expected to refrain from requesting time off during peak holiday periods to ensure staffing needs are met.
Must have at least one year's experience with Epic EMR. **MedSurg / Ortho - minimum 1 year of recent experience in a large healthcare facility. Strong Ortho experience is essential. Travelers will float as needed. Start: Approx 3 weeks after acceptance. Shift: 3 x 12 hr. Local candidates accepted: YES if over 100 miles or 50 miles for Night shift. Pending License accepted: No. RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility's needs. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Experience: 1+ year. Hospital Highlights: Average Daily Census: 25. Staffing Ratios: 1:6. Charting: Pyxis. Parking Cost: Free Parking.
