Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at PSG Global Solutions Careers. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures applying ionizing radiation, including CT scans, under the direction of the manager and in-charge technologist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify patients with two identifiers and communicate with nursing or physician concerning patient information.
  • Position patients accurately for all CT procedures and ensure that anatomy is demonstrated for best visibility.
  • Perform procedures correctly using protocol book for reference and ensure that studies are done in a timely manner.
  • Obtain appropriate supplies and prepare room for patient, keeping the room cleaned and stocked at all times.
  • Respond to codes and other emergency situations appropriately.
  • Explain CT procedure to patient and/or family member and obtain completed questionnaire and proper history and clinical from patient, floor or physician's office.
  • Train co-workers and students and assist other technologists when not busy in assigned CT room.
  • Acquire order and check for appropriate clinical, charging procedure and supplies when exam is completed.
  • Indicate no-film badge wearing name and fluoro time and operate the PAC's system appropriately, verifying studies before sending to archive.
  • Report equipment problems to supervisor, in-charge tech, and document confirmation numbers.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree - Completion of accredited radiology program.
  • Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses: ARRT-RADIOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGIST - ARRT, RSQA - RAD QUALITY STANDARD - RQSA, CT TECHNOLOGIST CERTIFIED - C061.
  • Minimum one year of CT experience - preferred.
