About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team as a PRN (as needed) professional. As a Speech Therapist with LHC Group, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their homes, providing personalized care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to treating speech and language disorders, and functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve and enhance patient well-being.
  • Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing the practice of speech therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Evaluate patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support in areas of speech therapy.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in Speech Therapy in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
