Key Responsibilities:

  • **Tooling Construction:** Execute the fabrication of composite components by adhering to detailed instructions, utilizing wet resins, and employing various tools for laminating, cutting, grinding, and sanding.
  • **Composite Parts Fabrication:** Assemble and prepare composite parts for delivery, managing wet resins and utilizing shop and power tools for cutting, grinding, and sanding.
  • **Maintenance and Cleanliness:** Ensure the workspace is organized and clean, perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, and complete additional assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Successful completion of a background check and proof of U.S. citizenship.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to interpret shop drawings and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with composite fabrication techniques, including hand layup and gelcoat application.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prior experience in composite fabrication is essential.
