Job Summary

Champion Home Builders is seeking an experienced Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will participate in the on-site assembly of manufactured housing and report directly to a Construction Crew Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual labor in the assigned area, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Read and use a tape measure, blueprints, and orders to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Represent Champion Home Builders with a professional demeanor and friendly attitude.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for the full duration of the workday.
  • Must have clear vision at both close and distant ranges.
  • Ability to hear clearly.
  • Must be available to travel, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Must be willing to work outside in all four seasons.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a strong work ethic and ability to work quickly and methodically.
  • Must understand safety procedures and have good teamwork skills.
  • Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction or repair of houses or buildings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, reason, and solve problems.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
  • Must be available to work Monday through Saturday.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
