Job Summary

The Bio Building Attendant is a key member of the Daybreak Foods team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bio-building facilities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facility Security: Ensure the security of our bio-building facilities by maintaining a secure environment, adhering to bio-security procedures, and enforcing access controls.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain all areas of the bio-building, including hallways, break rooms, restrooms, and offices.
  • Uniform Management: Sort, wash, and dry uniforms and footwear, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
  • Transportation Services: Provide transportation services for stakeholders and crews around the facility, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
  • Supply Management: Request and distribute safety supplies, materials, and equipment as needed.
  • Pre-Operation Inspections: Conduct pre-operation inspections on all vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily and weekly tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalency preferred.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a production agricultural environment preferred.
  • Skills: Self-directed and organized, ability to track and document activities, strong communication skills, and basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Physical Demands: Stand and walk constantly, grip, grasp, push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, lift up to 10 pounds frequently, sit, climb, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
