Residential Counselor

Vinfen is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Awake Overnight Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our residential support team, you will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting
• Implement treatment plans and assist individuals with activities of daily living
• Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP)
• Assist with nightly cleaning and filing

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field preferred
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury strongly preferred
• Strong time management and writing skills
• Ability to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment
