Radio Frequency Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency Test Engineer to join our team at Nemean Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the testing of vendor-provided developmental and production hardware and software as part of our standards conformance and interoperability certification mission.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and modify existing test plans and procedures to determine if existing procedures are sufficient for a waveform test technician to execute.
- Develop new test plans and procedures.
- Attend working group meetings for new and existing standards.
- Execute test equipment setup, perform functionality checks on equipment, and setup and configure equipment for new and existing capabilities using waveform-specific test kits.
- Provide engineering assistance to the test team technicians before, during, and after test execution.
- Recommend equipment, facility, or capability for upgrade, replacement, or discontinuation associated with the annual lab modernization effort.
- Develop test scripts, programs, and procedures to automate testing and increase lab efficiency.
- Provide recommendations on candidate subtests for reevaluation following a comprehensive review of vendor-provided documentation noting RF terminal software and hardware changes that have been previously assessed/certified.
- Experience with component-level RF circuit characterization and optimization.
- Experience with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzer, signal generator, and network analyzer.
- Experience with automated test scripts and software tools.
- Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of complex tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Excellent written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A Doctorate and at least 4 years of experience; a Master's degree and at least 10 years of experience; or a Bachelor's and 16 years of experience.
- Relevant technical degrees include engineering and science disciplines, physics, operations research, computer science, and mathematics.
- Related certifications in the area of specialization may be substituted for 1 year of experience.
