We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Library Shelving Specialist to join our team at Brazoria County, TX. As a Library Shelving Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the organization and accessibility of our library materials.

• Shelve books and other library materials in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure that library materials are properly cataloged and labeled
• Assist patrons with locating library materials
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a clean and organized library environment
• Collaborate with other library staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of library software

This is a part-time position working in a typical library office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
