Modern Group Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all customer correspondence via phone and email, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Coordinate service work schedules to maintain an efficient workflow and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Monitor and update technician reports, keeping customers informed of progress.
- Update and maintain business systems with accurate customer contact information.
- Open breakdown and PM work-orders in accordance with service instructions.
- Provide coaching and feedback to technicians on proper paperwork completion and timely submission.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to identify operational improvements and implement changes.
- Coordinate with Parts Administration to ensure timely delivery of shop supplies.
- 3-4 years of experience in dispatching and automotive services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook Calendar and Contact Management functions.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and files.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to pass a background check and physical/drug screen.
A high school diploma and one year of related industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with customers and employees.
Mathematical Skills:Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems in a standardized environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
