Forklift Lot Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Lot Attendant to join our team at Blue Compass RV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and arrangement of trailers on our lot.

• Operate a forklift to transport trailers to and from service areas and the lot as needed.
• Park and move RV units in a timely fashion to ensure optimal lot utilization.
• Ensure window prices are installed and removed as instructed, and write work orders to track problems and ensure units are in proper working order.
• Sweep, pick up trash and debris, empty garbage cans, and maintain a clean and professional appearance of the lot.
• Keep units and equipment secure from weather and maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
• Fuel and propane check and refill, stage units, and check in new units when they arrive from the factory.
• Run errands for parts or supplies and perform other tasks as deemed necessary by your supervisor.

• Some technician experience is preferred, with towing experience and previous yard tractor and/or forklift experience being a plus.
• Ability to drive an RV and experience using generators and operating slide-outs is also beneficial.
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending are required, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
• Ability to repair small items and identify problem units, with potential for growth and ability to learn RV repair techniques.
