Cake Decorator

About the Role:

As a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional member service in your area. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs. You will also be responsible for maintaining in-stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Additionally, you will operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive member service and deliver exceptional results
Plan and execute bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs
Maintain in-stock levels, control shrinkage, and adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events

Requirements:

6 months' experience in fresh production area
Must be 18 years of age or older
