Key Responsibilities
  • Operate high reach forklift equipment to access and retrieve products from warehouse racking, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Inspect products for quality and picking accuracy, adhering to company standards and customer specifications.
  • Package selected items securely and appropriately, considering shipping requirements and guidelines.
  • Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks, ensuring efficient and safe loading procedures.
  • Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to appropriate personnel, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required, staying up-to-date with the latest software and equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, neat, and safe facility, adhering to company standards and protocols.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and safety meetings to enhance knowledge of warehouse procedures and protocols.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing insights and suggestions for enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Willing to work some overtime when needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to meeting business objectives.
Requirements for Success
  • One year of warehouse experience, with specific experience in high reach forklift operation.
  • Proven experience operating high reach forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Ability to operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack.
  • Ability to count accurately on a repetitive basis.
  • Ability to read and operate hand-held RF scan device and use Warehouse Management System.
  • Physically able to lift, carry, move, etc. products up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally.
  • Ability to communicate successfully with leads, supervisors, coworkers, and customers as required.
  • Self-motivated and willing to work with others.
  • Detail-oriented.
