Aircraft Maintenance Specialist Job Summary
Aircraft Maintenance Specialist required to work at Amentum, providing structural repair expertise on aircraft structures, landing gear, flight surfaces, and engine systems. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of aviation maintenance experience, 2 years of rotary wing aircraft experience, and 2 years of experience on the assigned Mission Design Series (MDS).
The Aircraft Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting malfunctions, performing 100-hour inspections, and repairing or replacing worn or damaged components. The successful candidate will have a valid up-to-date A&P license and be able to obtain and maintain a NACI(T1) Public Trust Security Clearance.
The salary for this position is approximately $75,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on the location. The salary range is based on national averages and may vary depending on the location.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3 years of aviation maintenance experience
- 2 years of rotary wing aircraft experience
- 2 years of experience on the assigned Mission Design Series (MDS)
- A valid up-to-date A&P license
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI(T1) Public Trust Security Clearance
- Ability to lift items weighing 15-25 pounds and occasionally in excess of 45 pounds
