Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled pediatric hospitalist to join our team at Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC. As a pediatric hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children admitted to the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatric specialists, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Licensure: Active medical license in Oregon
- Certifications: Board Certification in Pediatrics or Pediatric Critical Care
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in pediatric hospital medicine
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
