Position Available:
HOSPICE AIDE (CNA)
PRN
Service Areas: Moore & Hoke Counties
Role Overview:
- Deliver direct patient care within hospice services.
- Maintain accurate documentation as mandated.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of a Board of Nursing accredited training and competency evaluation program, current registration with the Division of Facility Services Registry, and a minimum of one year of patient care experience in a healthcare or custodial environment.
- Proof of at least 75 certified education hours.
- Ability to independently manage work and provide effective healthcare services to homebound patients through appropriate care, with thorough, accurate, and timely documentation.
- Willingness to accept travel and assigned working conditions.
- Familiarity with safe personal care principles and adherence to company policies and procedures, including effective communication skills (both oral and written) and CPR certification.
- Commitment to a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education annually.
