Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Atlantic Health System Hospital Corporation. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient patient care, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammographic procedures with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review patient records and prescriptions to ensure all necessary information is available for radiologist interpretation.
  • Practice universal precautions and aseptic technique to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Process images using the PAC system and ensure timely completion of cases.
  • Monitor and resolve exceptions lists daily and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography or related field.
  • Able to perform screening and diagnostic mammography at a minimum.
  • Preferred skills: ability to perform DEXA and biopsy procedures.
