Position Responsibilities:This role entails the cleaning, upkeep, and restoration of both carpeted and hard floor surfaces. Key responsibilities include:
- Executing all floor cleaning and maintenance tasks using ServiceMaster's tools and established protocols.
- Responsibilities encompass: sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, stripping, waxing, buffing, moving furniture, and spot cleaning.
- Engaging in additional project work such as vent and light cleaning.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of floor buffing, stripping, waxing, and recognizing various flooring types.
- Operating diverse floor cleaning equipment and machinery effectively.
- Managing the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Frequent (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, and reaching.
- Must be capable of lifting and/or carrying up to 55 lbs.
- 1-2 years of experience in floor maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
- On-the-job training will be provided for candidates demonstrating a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
- Flexibility and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment are essential.
- Contributing to the team effort by being punctual, dependable, and in uniform is expected.
