Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to work on-site with our client in Amityville, NY. As a Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex wiring and assembly operations to production standards.

Your duties will include:
  • Completing substrate/component attach, ball bonding, wedge bonding, and parallel gap welding of micro-electronic assemblies and repair of assemblies.
  • Basic mechanical assembly.
  • Setting up and operating all applicable equipment.
  • Providing training and assistance to assemblers of lesser skill levels.
  • Working with tiny devices under a microscope.
  • Collaborating with technical personnel, such as Methods Analysts and engineers, to solve practical problems related to their work assignments.
  • Recording and maintaining data as needed.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in MIL-STD 883 related to wire bonding and component attachment, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with automatic microelectronic assembly equipment, epoxy dispensers, pick and place, and automatic ball bonders is also preferred.

What We Offer

This contract position offers a competitive salary of $35.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. The contract length is 12 months, and the schedule is a standard 9/80 hours per week (first shift).
